Bio: I teach creative nonfiction for the University of Alaska Anchorage low-residency MFA program, and for the Rainier Writing Workshop at Pacific Lutheran University. I'm also on the steering committee of the Kachemak Bay Writers' Conference. I grew up in Juneau, spent years in Fairbanks, and live in Anchorage with my husband, Scott Kiefer, and some unruly pets.
